This is a consent for communicating by email and sending/receiving your personal information, insurance forms, and if applicable banking information by email. It is important that you understand the following conditions: Getting your information by email message may not always be secure. Your email could be broken into and your information could be seen, shared with others, or changed without your permission. We recommend deleting information from your email to reduce the risk to you.

Depending on your email provider, information we send to you may be stored outside of Canada. If you delete email messages from AMC Insurance Service Ltd., backup copies could still be on your computer or in cyberspace.

After your transaction is processed, you will be sent an email with your policy documents. ICBC requires you to respond to that email and tell us if you have accepted your policy terms. You’ll be given options to confirm your acceptance.)

For those who are not eligible for ICBC Website Online auto insurance renewal, there is another straightforward method which is to use your broker, who will handle the process for you. What Is ICBC Online?
ICBC Online allows eligible customers to renew their policies online. Generally, a policy is eligible if it’s personal, due for renewal in 44 days or less, owned by a single individual not making coverage changes, and covers a non-new vehicle.
Online renewal is not applicable for jointly owned, leased, company-owned, motorcycle, collector, expired, or commercial policies. Additionally, policies with outstanding debts to ICBC or those requiring changes to optional coverages during renewal are ineligible.
The process involves securely logging in with your BC Services Card app, confirming coverage details without making changes, printing insurance documents, and having your selected broker review the renewal after payment.
The option to renew your policy online becomes available 44 days before its expiration. It is advisable to initiate the online renewal well in advance of the expiration date to prevent any gaps in coverage.
To be eligible for online renewal, you need to verify your identity using the BC Services Card App. Additional verification options will be introduced soon.
Absolutely! You have the option to renew your ICBC insurance through our platform using the online form, over the phone, or in person. Alternatively, when utilizing the ICBC Online system, you can designate AMC Insurance as your “Broker of Choice.” If this selection is made, our brokers will proactively contact you to review your transaction.
If renewed directly with us, documents will be emailed for printing, or if you need the hard copy of the paperwork, you can let us know to mail you. If renewed through ICBC, documents will be emailed for printing. ICBC can mail a copy to you, too.

This discount is determined by the mileage covered in the last 12 months, calculated using the odometer readings from the previous policy term and the renewal a year later. Certain rate classes, such as motorcycles and collector vehicles, are ineligible due to their existing classifications reflecting low kilometers traveled, primarily because these vehicles are not in use throughout the entire year. This discount is designed for those falling under rate classes where the majority of vehicles cover longer distances.
