Passport
Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months before you enter another country. As a general rule, passports should have at least six months of validity when traveling internationally. Most countries will not permit a traveler to enter their country unless the passport is set to expire at least six months after the final day of travel.

Vaccinations
Double check with your doctor and make sure that you have all the proper vaccinations and that you have renewed all of your prescriptions. Â Â While doing this check with your medical insurance provider to endure your policy covers you in case of emergencies.

Look up the conversion rate before you go. You do not want to be like me and pay $10 CAD for a beer when you get off the flight that others are only paying $2
Credit Card
Make sure it will work in the country you are traveling to. No one want to be stranded incase of an emergency.
Phone Charger
Different countries have different size plugs and voltages. If you want to be able to text family and friends this is a must.
Pets / House sitter
Make sure your pets and your house are taken care of by a reputable organization or friend. Coming home to a shock is not what anyone wants after a great vacation.

Double Check
